FRAME LABS

🎮 Frame Labs at Gamescom 2025: Connections, Demos & Global Momentum

We’ve just wrapped up a highly productive Gamescom 2024, and once again, Europe’s biggest gaming event proved to be an incredible platform to connect, pitch, learn, and showcase what Frame Labs is all about.

Representing both our original IP and partnerships, we packed three days with back-to-back meetings, demos, and networking — all while championing Western Australia’s growing game development scene on the global stage.

Here’s a look at the highlights.

🤝 20 Meetings, 5 Industry Events, 8 Countries

Across the conference, we connected with developers, platforms, publishers, investors, and collaborators from:

  • 8 countries including the USA, UK, Germany, Japan, China, France, Canada, and Spain

  • Participated in 20 formal meetings and 5 industry networking events

  • Showcased multiple projects including Wolf Creek: The Game, Rytmos MR, Outback Truckers DLC, and more

🧟 Wolf Creek: The Game — A Strong Debut

The PC demo for Wolf Creek: The Game was shared in select meetings with publishers and agencies. The project drew strong interest, and several parties have invited us to follow up as the game progresses. We’re encouraged by the early feedback and are actively preparing the next development milestone.

🎶 Rytmos MR — Hitting All the Right Notes

We demoed the mixed reality version of Rytmos to platform partners and media, with positive responses across the board:

  • Platform reps offered to support the next phase of the project, including potential access to early hardware programs and regional store placement.

  • We received thoughtful feedback from VR press and were offered media coverage aligned with our planned early access release.

  • Conversations also progressed with third-party studios and marketers regarding support for full production and release.

🌍 New Partnerships & Opportunities

Gamescom was also a springboard for new collaborations:

  • We explored co-development ideas with several international XR studios

  • Engaged in discussions about cultural exhibitions using immersive tech

  • Were invited to take part in future conferences and panel events around topics like storytelling, adaptation, and cultural impact in games
